Marketing Associate

Laura works alongside the Head of Marketing to execute Capalino’s strategic marketing plan, which spans digital campaigns, communications, content, events, and partnerships. She handles day-to-day operations, ensuring the clarity and consistency of the brand voice across platforms and audiences.


Prior to Capalino, Laura worked at HBO on the International Marketing Operations team, trafficking promotional assets like trailers, recaps, and key art to media partners all over the world. Of the dozens of campaigns she managed, her favorites include “I May Destroy You” and “We Are Who We Are.” Before that, Laura held roles in operations, sales, and communications at organizations across education, hospitality, and advocacy.

Laura grew up in Manhattan and graduated from The Bronx High School of Science. She earned her B.A. in Sociology, with a minor in Africana Studies, from Wellesley College; upon graduation she gained admittance to Alpha Kappa Delta, the international Sociology Honor Society. While living in the Bay Area, Laura studied creative writing and marketing at The City College of San Francisco, and upon her return to New York, completed the New York University certificate program in Digital Marketing. Laura loves baking, showtunes, and the public library.
