The NYS Department of Agriculture & Markets is soliciting Corporate Sponsors for the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse. It hosts the seventh largest state fair in the country and a wide variety of sporting, entertainment and consumer events that bring nearly 2 million people through its gates each year.

Sponsorship opportunities with the Fair include signage, product identification and sampling, naming rights, along with an agreed upon presence on the Fairgrounds. Rates and the application are available on the departments website at www.nysfair.ny.gov.

Small Rental Development Initiative (SRDI)

The Housing Trust Fund Corporation (“HTFC”) will offer this funding to preserve and create high-quality affordable multi-family rental units. Rents for all units in a project must be affordable to households at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI).

Applicants may request between $500,000 and $2,000,000 in NYS SRDI funds to support new construction, substantial or moderate rehabilitation of multi-family rental projects of 5-20 units at identified project sites. Funding is available as construction and permanent financing.

Total funding available: $7,000,000.

Eligible Applicants: Not-for-profit corporations or wholly owned subsidiary of such corporations are eligible to apply to serve as developer owners. Joint partnerships with experienced developers are encouraged to bolster capacity, however, lead applicant must be identified and must be a not-for-profit corporation.
