Special events and promotional launch events are amongst the most effective ways to market and sell all types of products and services.  As the biggest city in the world – and one with millions of tourists and residents plus world renowned and instantly recognizable locations like Times Square, Lincoln Center and Central Park – New York City has become one of the most ideal places to create and launch all kinds of special events.

During the past few years Capalino+Company has watched this industry grow and has been hired as  the strategic consultant for a growing number of major events.    In an effort to formally respond to this trend we have created a practice within the company called the Event Strategies Group to assist special event companies and corporations that need government approvals and /or are seeking partnerships with civic associations and other entities.

Government Approvals
Any event in the City of New York that takes place on City property requires significant City approvals. This includes securing a Street Activity Permit to operate on a City street, in addition, proper coordination with City agencies like the Departments of Transportation and Sanitation and the City’s Community Assistance Unit are vital in ensuring a successful and smoothly run event.  Major events also require proper coordination and approval by the City’s Marketing Department, NYC & Company.

Site Location
Getting access and permission to prime real estate to maximize effectiveness for an event can also be a challenge.  Based on years of experience in working with various government offices and handling community relations on all levels, Capalino+Company has the unique skill sets, relationships and knowledge that can:
