Capalino Expands Its Advocacy and Strategic Consulting Services With New Hires

 

Capalino is excited to expand its advocacy and strategic consulting services with the announcement of three new additions to the company who will offer expertise for New York City clients: 

Rich Kassel, Capalino, Energy, Environment and Sustainability

Rich Kassel

Rich Kassel manages the company’s Energy, Environment and Sustainability practice group. Rich has two decades experience on a wide range of air, energy, climate, land use, parks, and transportation policies and projects at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). He also directed the New York office of Gladstein, Neandross & Associates, a leading environmental consulting firm. Rich created NRDC’s “Dump Dirty Diesels” Campaign, which resulted in the clean-up of New York City’s transit buses and new federal programs to reduce diesel emissions by more than 90 percent. He also worked closely with the de Blasio and Bloomberg administrations on their PlaNYC and OneNYC programs, and played a major role in the creation of Hudson River Park. Jesse Campoamor, Senior Vice President, Capalino

Jesse Campoamor

Jesse Campoamor is a Senior Vice President and will utilize his extensive background in government, labor and community relations and knowledge of tax and economic incentives to help Capalino’s clients. Most recently, Jesse served as the Director of Community Affairs in Comptroller Scott Stringer’s office before transitioning to a senior role in the Economic Development Division. Prior to his position in Comptroller’s office, Jesse was one of the lead political organizers for 1199SEIU and a member of Manhattan Community Board 4. He has also been instrumental in a number of successful campaigns, including Eric Schneiderman’s 2010 campaign for Attorney General and Bill de Blasio’s 2009 campaign for Public Advocate. Brian Wagner leads Capalino’s corporate communications and branding strategy. Brian joins Capalino from Van Wagner Group, where he led the company’s integrated marketing group.
